WHAT IS SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE?
The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) comprises a series of steps necessary for executing and enhancing the software application development process.
(Bears, 2021)
PLANNING: Planning involves calculating the cost of materials and labor, creating a schedule with a clear objective, and establishing my project's outline and boundaries to prevent it from exceeding its scope.REQUIREMENT DEFINITION: Requirement definition is the process of identifying and specifying what the application of my project should accomplish and what resources are required to achieve the objective.
DESIGN AND PROTOTYPING: This phase involves the design steps that guide how the application of my website will operate, including programming, security, communication, architecture, and platforms. After the design is established, a prototype of the software's initial version may be developed to demonstrate the basic functionality of the application.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT: Software development is the stage where a single developer or a large team works on different development processes to produce the program, which may hold up production.
TESTING: After the software program is broken down into smaller units, it is subjected to a testing phase to ensure that each function works properly, and each part of the application interacts well with the others.
DEPLOYMENT: Deployment happens after the testing is completed, making the software available to users.
OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: This final phase is used to detect any bugs that were not identified during the testing phase and resolve them.(dextersbubble1.com)
